Terms of Service

By booking a trip, attending an activity, or accessing our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before participating in any activity with Sierra Soul Adventures.
1. Bookings and Cancellations
Backpacking:
Trip Pricing:
$1,350 (per person)
A refundable deposit of $250 is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
Full payment is due 60 days before your departure date.
Please note that this trip does not include flights, travel expenses, or other accommodations. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation and lodging outside of the guided itinerary.
Cancellation Policy:
91+ days prior to departure: Full refund of your deposit.
61 to 90 days prior to departure: Loss of $250 deposit.
31 to 60 days prior to departure: 50% of the trip cost is non-refundable.
0 to 30 days prior to departure: No refunds available.
Day Hiking
Trip Pricing:
Partial Day (up to 4 hours)
1 person: $125
2+ people: $100 per person
Full Trips (up to 8 hours)
1 person: $250
2+ people: $225
A refundable deposit of $50 is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. Full payment is due 7 days before your departure date.
Cancellation Policy:
7+ days prior to departure: Full refund of your deposit.
0 to 7 days prior to departure: Loss of $50 deposit.
2. Participant Responsibilities
Health and Safety:
Participants must disclose any relevant health conditions before the trip. You are responsible for following safety guidelines and instructions from guides during the activity.
Physical Fitness:
Participants are responsible for assessing their physical fitness for the chosen activity. Sierra Soul Adventures reserves the right to refuse participation to individuals who may compromise the safety or experience of the group.
Assumption of Risk:
Outdoor activities, including backpacking, rock climbing, and day hiking, involve inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge and assume these risks, including those related to weather, terrain, wildlife, and other natural elements.
3. Changes to Activities
Sierra Soul Adventures reserves the right to modify or cancel activities due to weather, safety concerns, or other factors beyond our control. In the event of cancellation, we will work to provide rescheduling options or refunds as applicable.
4. Liability and Waiver
By participating in our activities, you agree to release Sierra Soul Adventures, its owners, guides, and affiliates from any liability, claim, or loss arising from injury, illness, or accident that occurs during your participation. You acknowledge that outdoor activities involve risks, and you voluntarily assume these risks.
5. Minors
Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a consent form and accompany them on the activity, unless prior arrangements have been made with Sierra Soul Adventures.
6. Privacy and Data Usage
Your personal information will be collected and used as outlined in our Privacy Policy, available on our website. By participating in our activities, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Sierra Soul Adventures website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Sierra Soul Adventures or used with permission. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your participation in our activities will be governed by the laws of the State of California. Parties agree to resolve disputes through negotiation, mediation, or, if necessary, arbitration in California.

Non- Discrimination Policy
“In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity. (Not all prohibited bases apply to all programs.)
Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g., Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.) should contact the responsible State or local Agency that administers the program or USDA’s TARGET Center at (202) 720-2600 (voice and TTY) or contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339.
